Since 1854 a Maple Grove School has stood on what is now the corner of Cold Spring Road and 68th Street. For over 150 years, teachers at Maple Grove have been committed to teaching students to read, write and practice math. That commitment remains today as our teachers utilize Readers and Writers Workshop and cooperative math practices to engage students in their own learning. In addition to traditional subjects, today’s Maple Grove also works to help students develop their creative and communication skills, to collaborate with their classmates and experts from the community and around the world, to think critically to solve problems, to direct their own learning and to have a balanced sense of well-being. On a daily basis, Maple Grove Mighty Hawks show our school characteristics of kindness, growth mindset, and responsibility. We are proud of our school and are happy to share it with you.
