Back-to-School Night

Families will have the opportunity to meet their children’s teachers during Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 12, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. 

• Freshman Family Meeting  @ 5:15 PM in the PAC
• Senior Family Meeting  @ 4:15 PM in the PAC

BELL SCHEDULE

All students should report to school by 7:30 am. Any student arriving before 7:15 am should enter the building at Door 21 (by the cafeteria).

STUDENT HANDBOOK

There has been a significant revision to the Greenfield High School Student/Family Handbook this summer. All students and families are encouraged to review the handbook. Please pay special attention to sections on Dress Code, Electronic Devices, and Attendance. We will spend some time in Advisory reviewing the most important sections with students during the first week of school.

COMMUNICATION PLAN

One of our goals is to provide regular, clear, and comprehensive information to our students, families, and community. All formal communication from school administrators and the district will be sent via email. Please be sure to update any email addresses and all other contact information in Infinite Campus.

Student Census/Information Updates:

It is important for every family to review their child’s emergency contact, health information, and demographics in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. To complete the Census Update please follow these steps:

1. In the Parent Portal, in the left index click “More”
2. Click on “Online Registration”
3. Select 23-24 Existing Student Registration, Click “Start”
4. Complete all yellow section, you must click “Next” in all areas until a large red SUBMIT button appears.
5. Click “Submit”

Schedule Change Request 

Schedule changes are something to be considered carefully.  At this time, there are very limited reasons why a schedule change will be approved.  Multiple requests for course changes will not be considered.  All requests must be submitted by the end of the day Friday, August 23rd, 2024 at 3:00 pm.

DROP-OFF / PICK-UP

The building will be opened for students each day at 6:45 am. Students who arrive between 6:45-7:15 am will enter the building through Door 21 and will be directed to the cafeteria until 7:15 am at which time students will be directed to go to their 1st period classroom. From 7:15-7:30 am doors 1, 7, 11 and 21 will open for students to enter and head directly to their classrooms.

Bus - Busses will load and unload in the south parking lot along the side of the school building. Students will enter through door 7. Additional information regarding bussing will be distributed by the district.

Student Cars - Students who drive to school should enter the parking lot on Layton Avenue and park in the lot in front of the building. Parking passes are required for all drivers who wish to park at school and will be sold for a non-refundable rate of $115.00 per year.

Drop Offs - Drop-offs may enter the school parking lot at the south entrance on 60 th Street, dropping students near the district office entrance, and leaving the parking lot heading north on 60 th Street. These students should enter the building at Door 21.

Walking - Students who choose to walk to school may enter through Doors 1, 7, 11, or 21 beginning at 7:15 am.
