Principal's Message:
Welcome to Glenwood Elementary School! We are a collaborative community of learners who foster curiosity and wonder through engagement in authentic learning opportunities in order to understand and positively impact the world and celebrate the joy of learning and the growth of every child.
I am thrilled to be entering my third year as principal of Glenwood and feel proud to work alongside our amazing students, staff and families. We truly believe "it takes a village" and work with intentionality to ensure our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
A little bit about me.... My career in education began in 2006 after graduating with my bachelor's degree from Winona State University in Minnesota. I spent the first eight years as a third and fifth grade classroom teacher and curriculum facilitator in the Greendale School District. After receiving my master's in instructional and administrative leadership from Alverno College in Milwaukee, I transitioned into an elementary instructional coaching role in the School District of Greenfield. After seven years in that position, I spent a year in the School District of South Milwaukee as their multi-level systems of support coordinator, before returning to Greenfield as Glenwood's principal. Outside of work, I enjoy life with my partner, David, my two wonderful daughters, Emme and Leighton, and our pups, Libby and Preston.
