The Edgewood Home and School Association (EHSA) is an organization made up of parents and guardians of Edgewood students along with Edgewood staff. We provide financial and personal support to the school to assist with reading programs, field trips, books, technology support and other activities that are not in the school budget. We also provide financial help to purchase needed items that help benefit the students in their classrooms. The EHSA also provides social opportunities for the students and their families outside of the normal school day.
EHSA meetings are from 6:30-7:30 on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Learning Commons or virtually. All parents/guardians are welcome to join in. Child care is provided at no cost. Whether or not you can join us at meetings, there are plenty of ways to get involved! You can...
- Volunteer at events like the dances and Family Night
- Participate in the Fundraisers
- Shop through smile.amazon.com and pick us as a beneficiary!
In the past, EHSA has raised money to buy and install playgrounds on the Edgewood campus, fund field trips for classes, fund honorary T-shirts for K5 and 5th grade students, and purchased planner and student folders for the student body.
Even with our current social conditions, our school has enjoyed celebrating families and school community in the Fall through an outdoor event highlighting each grade level classroom displays and interactive/socially distanced carnival games. We look forward to our Spring event and fundraisers. (More information to come!)
